EXPERIENCE:

MicroTools Inc., Simsbury, CT Jr. Software Test Engineer, June 2008 - Present

Tested an embedded Linux system for a time and attendance equipment manufacturer. Wrote test programs using the system's proprietary programming language. Used software requirements specification documentation to develop test plans and conduct tests. Verified that all changes to the software by MicroTools achieved their intended purposes. This time and attendance system has 4 different graphics screens (one touch screen); USB ports; RS232 ports; Ethernet ports; EEPROM interface; smart card, magnetic, optical, finger print and RFID readers on board.

Currently testing an embedded Linux system for a residential energy monitoring device designed and implemented by MicroTools.

Tested AMLIC's software before and after implementation of Y2K updates to verify a smooth transition from a 2-digit year to a 4-digit year.
