Designed and developed a VB.net interface to two existing VB6 applications, an embedded Linux system and a web services interface.

Led a team to analyze 100,000's of lines of C, VB, Pascal and assembler to determine infringement of a motion control patent. Developed the claim charts for this project. Provided deposition support. This project was settled successfully out of court for a lucrative settlement for our client.

Performed design review, code review and module test for commercial helicopter fuel control under EU (French) Aviation Authority. Involved C and ASM code for multiple PowerPC processors, Green Hills real-time operating system, AdaMULTI debugger scripting and LDRA Testbed for C and Assembler.

Performed Design Review, Code Review and Module Test work for RTCA/DO-178B Level A software in C/C++ and Power PC. Included use of LDRA Testbed as well as customized environments, Green Hills AdaMULTI and Integrity RTOS, RCS and Telelogic DOORS. Wrote debugger scripts for AdaMULTI to simulate embedded hardware operation.

Wrote MS-DOS and Perl scripts to automate various administrative tasks.

Wrote Visual Basic scripts to interface MS Office products for various tasks including automating production of traceability matrices for DOORS.

Wrote scripts using proprietary scripting language to debug time clocks.

Directed 6 managers (VP level) and managed a budget of over $24 million. Responsible for E-Commerce, Software Development (J2EE, .NET, C, C++), Data Base (Oracle and SQL Server), Data Privacy and Security and regulatory compliance initiatives including HIPAA, Patriot Act, Sarbanes-Oxley. Served as designated compliance officer and technical interface to the regulators.

Built an independent Data Base Administrator group, managed compliance and security initiatives and major capacity upgrades to accommodate organic growth as well as significant acquisition growth.

Forensic examination of refinery control software and accounting software. Provided testimony before Lithuanian National Security.

Managed internal and client IT architecture development. Developed and implemented an international IT security plan for major international energy firm. Provided strategic plans and architectures as well as management reorganization for IT clients in Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Romania. Developed financial security programs including anti-money laundering activities.

Managed rollout and implementation for integrated application and data base systems for order, inventory and financial management system. CTO of overseas petroleum refinery, directed implementation of IT and networking security and intrusion detection systems.

Directed conversion of inpatient data base to enable outcome research and analytic capability. Designed and developed SQL data base medical records system with secure web enabled feeds and query capability.

Implemented and managed office of technology for nationwide building materials retailer. Provided technology infrastructure for "Lumberyard of the Future" as well as client focused interactive kiosks. Participated in focus group and internal workflow and customer service reengineering.

Managed restructuring and staffing of telecommunications department for regional discount retailer. Managed the rollout of over 600 VSAT systems and 315 integrated POS systems in under a year. Achieved a cost avoidance in excess of $2 million annually. Developed countermeasure for telephone and voice mail intrusion and hacker detection.
